  1. What if I have a customer service query and need to talk to somebody?
    This website is operated by Magazine Stand who pass your orders and money to the publisher of your selected magazine/s. Whilst we will always endeavour to sort any customer queries, the magazine that you order will always be fulfilled by the publisher of that magazine. And therefore we recommend that you deal with the publisher about queries relating directly to your magazine subscription. Contact details for the publisher of your magazine can be found in your welcome emails and letter. Alternatively send an email to magazine-stand@dovetailservices.com stating the title of your magazine and we will send you the customer service contact details for your publisher or call us on 0870 442 9513.
  2. I paid by Direct Debit. Am I protected?
    For Terms and Conditions of using this website please click here. If you pay for your subscription by Direct Debit you are automatically protected by the Direct Debit Guarantee. A copy of this should be sent to you by the publisher of the magazine/s you have selected. You can cancel a Direct Debit at any time by simply contacting your bank and/or the publisher.
  3. What is your refund / exchange policy?
    The selected magazine/s cannot be exchanged for any other magazines through the website. The subscription can be cancelled at any time during its term* and a refund of any unmailed issues will be made by the Publisher of the magazine/s you purchased and not by Magazine Stand.

  4. How long will it take for my first issue to arrive?
    After your order has been processed by the publisher, you will receive the next available issue. The delivery date is determined by the time you place your order and the print date of the magazine you order. It can take up to a maximum of 12 weeks for delivery of your first magazine but this will be confirmed in the Welcome letter you receive from the publisher of your selected magazine(s).
  5. If I order a subscription as a present for someone else, will they be contacted?
    If you have ordered a gift subscription you (the buyer) will receive a posted acknowledgement letter which includes a Gift card for you to announce your kind gift, if you wish to. No contact will be made with the subscription recipient at all until they receive their subscription. Announcement of the subscription is solely at the discretion of you, the subscription purchaser.
  6. How will I know if my order has been received and processed?
    An acknowledgement email will be sent to you, the subscription purchaser, within 12 hours of the subscription(s) being ordered by Magazine Stand. A second email will be sent to you, the subscription purchaser, within 12 hours of the order being processed by the publisher. This email will be sent by Magazine Stand and will confirm contact details for the publisher regarding your subscription(s).
  7. When will my subscription start?
    Your subscription(s) will start with the next available issue unless otherwise requested by yourself in the necessary section of the website. Depending on the time of your order and the print date of the magazine, this can be up to 12 weeks, but in most cases it will be sooner.
  8. Who will send me my magazines?
    The publisher will organise the sending out of your magazines and will deal directly with any queries or customer service needs you have during the lifetime of your subscription(s). You can find all of the contact details for the publisher in your welcome emails and letter. Alternatively send an email to magazine-stand@dovetailservices.com stating the name of the publication you subscribe to and we will send you the relevant customer service contact details.
